Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for MDCAT 2024:
- You must have completed your Intermediate/HSSC with a Pre-Medical group or an equivalent qualification such as A-Levels.
- A minimum score of 65% in Pre-Medical subjects (Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and English) is required.
- Candidates awaiting results can also apply by submitting their 11th-grade marks.
- Applicants must be from Punjab or Balochistan.
- Overseas Pakistanis are also eligible to apply.
How to Apply for MDCAT 2024
The application process for MDCAT 2024 is entirely online. Follow these steps to complete your registration:
Create an Account
- Visit the official PMDC website at PMDC Website.
- Click on "MDCAT Registration" on the bottom left corner of the homepage.
- Sign up by providing your name, CNIC/B-Form number, and other personal details.
- Verify your email and mobile number.
Fill Out the Registration Form
- After logging in, complete the registration form by entering your personal information, educational details, and preferred exam center.
- Upload the required documents, including a recent passport-sized photo, CNIC/B-Form, Matric and FSC result cards, and domicile.
Submit the Registration Fee
- Once the form is filled, the system will generate a bank challan.
- Print the challan and pay the registration fee of PKR 8000/- at any branch of ABL, HBL, or MCB.
- After payment, scan the paid challan and upload it to your account on the PMDC portal.
- Submit your application.
Receive Roll Number Slip
- Within 72 hours of fee submission, you will receive an email containing your roll number.
- Print out the roll number slip, as it will be required on the exam day.
MDCAT 2024 Exam Date
The MDCAT 2024 exam will be held on Sunday, 22nd September 2024, at 10 AM. The exam will be conducted across various centers in Pakistan, as well as selected international locations for overseas candidates.
MDCAT 2024 Paper Pattern
The MDCAT exam pattern for 2024 consists of 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) covering five subjects:

- Chemistry: 54 questions
- Physics: 54 questions
- English: 18 questions
- Logical Reasoning: 6 questions
Each question carries 1 mark, and there is no negative marking. The total time allotted for the exam is 210 minutes.
